General purpose of this blog

 Hi! There's no one reading this, so I'll keep this brief. I am making this blog because I can't think of a way to upload my writings from over the years without getting stuck on "Which ones should I upload?" or "How do I package this?" I am going to put all of my short stories here and occasionally a poem or two. This will be a nice way for me to kinda see everything and for me to have my stuff "out there" while I work on further expansion. In any case, enjoy the writing. My fantasy stories used to be ultra-violent and and sexual in service of blue humor, and they've taken a more serious, toned-down tone. Anyway, I'll upload my first group of short stories, which I'll call the "Mandaran Cycle" here.

Ain't No Rent Gonna Ruin My Day

The Barbed Pickle was the most happening tavern in north Mandara. It had a sign on the door that said "No wimps allowed. Any wimps found on the premises will be berated, humiliated and bullied so hard that they'll run away crying like a baby." It was a pretty big sign. Inside was a rowdy time. An orc and a dwarf were in the middle of a bar fight that many patrons surrounded. "Take this you shitty-ass shitty shit!" shouted the first orc, Vic. Vic was big, even by orc standards. The Peacemaker

 A/N: This is Story #3 in the Fantasy Fiction podcast style, and the very first story I wrote in the Mandaran Cycle, about 12 years ago. The Fantasy Fiction podcast is what inspired me to write, so these early stories were written as though they would be orated. I'll also generally be trying to leave them unedited aside from fixing typos I happen to catch. I want to preserve how I wrote back then as a good comparison to now.   Wizman the wizard was the most peace-loving wizard in all of Mandara. He was a human wizard with a short white beard who wore an orange robe with suspenders on it and wielded a wizard staff made of platinum with a fist on the end. Wizman carried with him a wallet that had the phrase "Take No Prisoners" stitched into it, full of photos of him with everyone whom he killed after he killed them.
